Birthday parties. They’re fun & an exciting time, especially for kids who can remember them. But, what about for a two year old? They won’t remember that day. They can’t live with all of their gifts forever… And all of that hard work & preparation for three short hours?! I know some parents don’t even bother with themes, gifts, or sometimes even a party… I have to though. Because I know that one day we can look back on all of their photographed memories & remember how much fun they had.
These early birthday parties to me are for all of the fun, screaming, running children in my house. For the chocolate ice cream faces being wiped. For all of the “MAMA! WOW!” moments when they tear into a gift bag {even though they have no idea what it is!}… And for all of the sweet hugs, birthday wishes & kisses that my two little monsters received that day. All just for being here & being their awesome, sweet little selves. That is what this was all for! And not to mention that mom & dad can catch up with friends who just so happen to have kids, too.
Today, I want to share with you photos from our roaring adventure. Everyone had a ton of fun digging in the sand, over loading on ice cream & just being kids!
In the days to come I will share my how~to’s, party theme ideas, & recipes with you. Enjoy this tiny photographic journey!
